I have been out of town for about 2 weeks, so I am a little behind on mail pick-up. OMG, what a treat when I stopped by the PO Box last night!!!!

An enormous THANK YOU to @Starchy and @FordPickup92! I scored a premium haul from the Chip Convention, thanks to my chip convention heroes!!!

Because I like the hot stamp, and it's a good "placeholder" chip until I can find and buy this chip:

I do not collect or buy hot stamps at all. But this Horseshoe Reno 50c is top notch. Love the color, the stamp design, all of it. At any rate, a toothbrush and some Fels Naphtha later, my chip looks like this:

Also, $20 for this is under market rate. At chip chat auctions it goes for $40+. So it cleaned up spectacularly, and I'd say that today was a pretty awesome mail day as a result. Happy "screw you England" weekend everybody!

Before they arrived I was actually thinking of selling them all since I picked up so many tourney sets in the mean time. But I think they will stay now that I see them lol.

They don’t photograph great I think due to the marks on the edges, but those marks aren’t as noticeable in person on the table compared to close up pron shots

I’m contemplating a custom mold though... chips feel, stack, and look great. A better mold would really make them standouts imo

Wait… we can do custom molds!?

The issue is who pays the $2900? Is the mold owner going to charge per chip? For how long? Who owns the mold? Is the mfg going to use it for other orders? Lots of logistics.

Any mock-ups of what the mold might look like?

Also, are you sure they won’t re-use the mold? They seem to re-use any art sent to them
