A sample set of Indian Warrior Chief chips arrived from @horseshoez today and they are pretty awesome. The colors are vibrant and they're in great shape.

I got these because I liked the colors and thought they were kind of a neat tribute, but after reading a thread where someone expressed their disgust at the cultural insensitivity of them I realized that they were polarizing. What are your thoughts, are these chips in bad taste?

Personally, I have a hard time understanding how something that honors and remembers someone historically significant can be offensive. But what do I know.

That wouldn’t surprise me. That’s how it originally played out but time changes things. The more modern version of this legend entails a clown from the BTP Circus appearing, dressed in lilac and sherbet green holding a murdered BTP chip in his bloody hand that has a Gear label on it.
 
Got this guy in the mail yesterday. eBay find. The seller was selling a bunch of other WSOP chips. Did anyone else here get some (I think there were like 6 or 7 more WSOP chips that were sold...not fast enough to get any of the other ones).

Also, not looking at the price on eBay, what do you think this chip is worth? They seem very hard to come by.

Low denoms like 25 and 100 I would expect about $50/chip for those. If you got a 5k chip out, that would have to be over $100. Just a guess.

Great. I got it a little cheaper than that, but I bet they would go for a lot more because they sold almost instantly.

Have you seen any available in recent memory like these (see picture). Or know anyone selling them (or have them) as I would be interested in a 25 or 100 chip.

Pm if you don’t want it to be public.
