As a chipper, this is the most bittersweet thing to come home to!

Looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow but, on the bright side, at least US to UK shipping via USPS is back to its usual speedy self.

Hopefully someday find some more so I'm not giving out dimes and fiddys for rebuys, but it's all good for now! I know, I know RHC mixed with THC but original AJ chips are extremely difficult to find! Even at $12 each!! Uggh

And your thoughts thus far? We absolutely love them. Lucky enough to live in a PCF dense area so we get to play lots of sets and several have gone with Scrowns recently. I absolutely love original SCrown TRKs but the CPC version are pretty damn cool too!

And your thoughts thus far? We absolutely love them. Lucky enough to live in a PCF dense area so we get to play lots of sets and several have gone with Scrowns Scrowns recently. I absolutely love original SCrown TRKs but the CPC version are pretty damn cool too!

Overall I always liked the smaller diameter of the scrowns (I'm biased cause my h molds are smaller than other CPC molds, and key West h molds, too).

And, although it's been 15 years since I've handled TRKs, I think prefer the harder clay of CPC! Back in the day I remember wanting to be impressed, but feeling meh when I got my samples. I also preferred by heavier chips back then, but I'm OK to the 8-9g so that's a moot point now.

Edit:. I can't remember the sound but I bet is prefer the old TRKs better.

Received my CPC B-mold shuffle stack from this giveaway today! Thanks @warma!

First impression was that they felt lighter than I thought they would, but I'm used to slugged chips (both really cheap dice chips and the stepped-up Monaco Casino chips from DPS).

Second impression is that they didn't feel as clay-like as I was expecting, but the only clay chips I've handled since falling down the rabbit hole were some non-mint HSCs (haven't even played with CCs before).

These chips are nice and sharp, and they reminded me most of the Dunes commemorative chips from Spinetti's, which I believe are ProGen/NexGen, if that's not sacrilegious to say! They definitely feel hard like I've read about CPC chips being. They don't sound anything like the those Dunes though, more like the sample stack of cards mode ceramics I have.

Curious if the color/mold would make much of a difference in how these chips feel, or could it be more the mint-y nature? Hope no one takes this as criticism of the chips! Thanks again @warma's for your generosity, really glad to have them!

EDIT: And since I mentioned having a cards mold sample stack, a throwback to a few weeks ago when I received this in the mail:

It was empty! But on the floor just below the mail slot I found these:

Packaged of course, not loose, but somehow they had ripped a hole in the envelope but not fallen out until they were inside my apartment. Lucky! Belated public thanks to @PAZ for sending me these New China Club cards mold ceramics samples!

So back in the spring I won a Hold’em hand to win the rights to purchase a 520 piece AS Tourney set that @Eriks was selling. Never did post pics of it in here.

How it started:

This set did come with 2 barrels of T25k that I swapped one of the barrels for a barrel of T1k

Then more recently I won another Hold’em hand to earn the privilege of buying another 400 piece AS tourney set that @Jeevansluck had for sale. I ended up grabbing an extra barrel of T1k and T5k off him and somehow talked him into letting go of his barrel of T5s!!!

How it’s going:

Not sure how I want this last rack to be composed. For sure the T25k and T5 stay. Not sure if I need a second barrel of T25k or maybe another barrel of T5k? Suggestions welcomed.

I just love these chips!

another 5k - you have enough for 30 players at 8/8/4/7 but for two rebuys each you need 120 5k chips. I’d get those before adding more 25ks. You can maybe swap for your 1k because those are probably the scarcest AST besides the t5.

I'd say another barrel of T5 for more bounty chips for rebuys, if that's what you're using them for.

The T5s would be for bounties. Doubt I could easily find or afford a second barrel, but if anyone has one available…
