Thanks @Josh Kifer for the BJ’s and skittles. And @TricycleClub for the samples and cut card.

Stopped by my good buddy @allforcharity's place, on my way home from work today. I was picking up a few CDi $1s, and got to talking about some of the shaped inlay CDis.

I happen to have a great sample, that is nearly complete with shaped inalys. We discussed the frac, $1, and $1000 aren't found with shaped inlays.

Anyways, Berny hooked me up with a sharp mint shaped inlay hundo so I could complete the conquest. I tried to offer him money, but he refused. What a great friend I got, I'm lucky in this regard, and have been ever since coming to this site.

Anyways...I have this...

And now I have this...I'm so thrilled...I have never moved this sample set from its spot. Been nearly 2 years. I adore this set...

Congratulations Nav! I have been hunting one of those $100s to finish my shaped inlay sample as well. Technically I have one, but this one stays in a capper other than this picture

The only 4 spot I have ever seen, would love to add it to the sample set but can't bring myself to do so. (Sample set lives in a chip case unprotected from each other) a lot of shaped inlay $100s were on eBay about a year ago, (36) of them I think and sold for like $4 each... still kicking myself for not grabbing those.

I think a lot of us are kicking ourselves for missed opportunities over the course of the past 6 to 12 months.

This is a true story that not many believe me when I tell it but this 100% happened. I had the first four racks of the Coke Giraffes on eBay when they first went onto the site. Was going to be $1100 for four racks, two $1's, and one rack each of the $20's and $10's. I paused for a few seconds and hesitated because I had already put in a sizeable deposit on my next CPC set that month, but when I went to check out and buy them after all, they had already been sold. I was just a couple of minutes away from being the Coke Giraffe pioneer instead of those that got them at the end of the day.

Thankfully that's one of only my couple chipping regrets, and the others weren't that big otherwise. Better to be a lion for a day than a mouse for a lifetime.

The lower mainland has a great community.

Got my Dal Negro Treviso "Freedom" (I think they're called) cards, jumbo/poker, 3 decks in red. (If anyone has any non-red Dal Negro decks they'd like to trade...)

They're very nice cards. A little slippery, smooth surfaces front and back, and they have a very slight burnt/melted plastic smell (not a sweet smell like Copags). I like the creamy centers on the Aces, but I didn't realize they were on all the other number cards too:

Interestingly, the cream background isn't on the face cards:

Dunno if that's pretty standard or not.
