Dude, it’s been 2 hours. I wanna see the chipes!

It’s going to be a week before I can even start cleaning them. I haven’t even opened more than one box yet. The first one I opened had extras of each denom so I took one sneak peek pic of them.

Another banger mail day, just got these in while class was going on haha! Love being able to be in class at home. Sick Isle of Capri $5s from @sheikh617, these are so nice in person! Then, some more TRKs for the collection. Haven't had any luck getting anything on eBay but was lucky to get these Kings Crowns. Harrah's $5 is a nice looking MINT chip that I was able to find locally. EJC TRKs are something I saw that I thought were neat. $5 greens which I don't think I've ever seen before. I've been chasing this Paris $20 for the LONGEST time and so happy to finally have one! Solid mail day and super hyped! Enjoy!

Dear @Himewad ,

I hereby request that you no longer run DBGB's on days when I am consuming bourbon. The following schedule outlines the days that I consume bourbon:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

I'm not going to even check to see if this order is right. Because it's just so awesome I just don't care. Really fantastic chips!!!

Very exciting mail today. The evolution of chipping. Trading in my ceramic cash set and some random hhr chips for this amazing cash set. A big thanks to @GenghisKhan for helping to make this happen.

I really like that those have quarters.
Makes it a nice, fun set. HHR has always been classy.

For future reference for anyone that has not had the pleasure yet, great guy to deal with right here or just chat in general too. ;)

Enjoy.

I met a new friend on PCF! We've been collaborating on a special project. Little did I know that @TheOffalo makes custom tuck boxes and offered to send me some as a surprise gift. I appreciate all of the effort you put into tweaking the artwork for these! I've gotta step up my game so you're "wow'd" when my package arrives...

I'm getting something out of our collab too, but super glad you like them! (Make sure they actually fit your decks.)

@TheOffalo Those tuck boxes look top notch!! What paper stock do you use for the tuck boxes? What measurements do you use for poker/bridge?

I used 110lb card stock but it seems a bit flimsy. I think my measurements were a bit off too…I did 91mm x 66mm x 21mm and 91mm x 60mm x 21mm.

I’m not even going to ask about graphics since I’m design challenged  :ROFLMAO:. My white tuck boxes for excess decks are good enough.

Mine ended up being 90.33mm x 59.18mm x 19.53mm for bridge, and swap in 65mm for the middle measurement for poker. I probably started off with even numbers, but ended up making little tweaks and resizes that made them end up with those weird decimals (except the width of the poker size at 65mm).

I find the lbs. of the cardstock doesn't matter as much as the gsm (grams per square meter). I first tried an 80lbs cardstock that was 174gsm that was too flimsy. (Maybe yours has this same gsm rating too.) Then I tried a 216gsm stock that also said 80lbs but was much thicker--still wasn't as sturdy as I'd have liked.

The cardstock I settled on was 325gsm (120lbs. FWIW). And I laminate the tuck boxes with glossy self-adhesive laminate (don't have a laminating machine) for added durability, water-resistance, and a nicer look.

You can probably get away with a cardstock in the 250-300gsm range especially if you laminate, but even if you don't. I just figure after trying two w/smaller gsm numbers, I'd skip over some of the intermediate ones.

Edit: Your measurements don't look that far off. 91mm is actually better than what I ended up with. Everything else is within a mm or two. Did the cards seem like they had too much room? The thicker cardstock I used does mean that once folded and assembled the interior size may be smaller.

I test-fitted Copags, Bicycle Prestiges, Dal Negros, Modianos, Faded Spades, and they all fit with varying slack/snugness, with the last two being the tightest fit. I test both sizes, except DNs and FSs of which I only had poker-size.
