Merci for the Paris $1s @David Spragg! 80 more of these en route and we have a playable set; love how good they look next to my choice of fiver:

I know where some of those nickels are if you're ever inclined to want more.
Nice pick up John, was this David's?
I can’t see myself ever using them but I love the stamp. It would be amazing to even out the racks in the set for anti-tilt purposes. This one wasn’t Davids, but I think some of them may have been in his set at one point.

Lovely! Are white $5s common in the UK? What are the UK standard colors, anyway?
Thanks!

I don't think there's a traditional UK colour scheme and, truth be told, I think they just make it up as they see fit. Here are some example chips from my two local casinos in Cardiff, although Rainbow shut during the pandemic, sadly:

The rack of Jerry's came up at a discounted price with Casino Bank, and it had always been one of my favourite chips — so I snagged them with a view to building a new set around them.

The decision to have them as my fiver was two-fold: firstly, the spot pattern was a little too complex to have as a £1, and I thought it would be nice to mix things up and have them as a £5. @PocketAces and I discussed how, sometimes, completely untraditional colours work well in a lineup — and I think that's the case here.

Secondly, it allowed me to have a blue Vegas $1 in my lineup, thus keeping costs down to about $3 a chip. Likewise, I wanted to choose two workhorse chips that I could potentially harvest on my trip to Vegas in November, allowing me to add to the set for face value, essentially.

Thanks!

Trying to figure out if the two Rainbow Casino chips and the Les Croups hundo are Abbiati — any idea @BonScot?
