Finally got 1 rack of IG Sec $100s.

Does it work as a secondary $1? (I already know it does..I’m just flexing).

Need 3 more racks

Why send chips by mail when you can deliver them in person?

Great to meet up with @mattross1313 today in Cardiff, drop some chips off for flattening and, perhaps more importantly, grab some beers and complete Time Crisis 2 together!

Great to catch up and grab a beer bro.
But maybe next time shoot the gun not selfies - then you might have some tokens left :ninja:  :ROFLMAO:

@SurfCity USA has made another contribution to the Orphanage.

A safe and successful single chip mailed domestically for under a dollar. Well done, @SurfCity USA.

Also, I've had members reach out and try to gouge me, knowing that I was close to completing a rack. @SurfCity USA reached out and asked if I was still looking and then just dropped it in the mail. May good karma come your way, sir.

As usual, come home from a shift at the observatory and find the stuff I bought a shift or two before.

From top left, another chip from the Red Fox on that crazy pyramid mold, a prop chip from Deep Rising, a blank spotted Roman mold chip... just because.

Middle row, a couple older Vegas ones for my singles collection and the new Paris $2 for my Vegas drop chip collection (up to 27 now).

Bottom row, a Paulson sample chip with their "intricate edge spots". These are the spots with text on them.

I remember many of us being puzzled by these (myself included) when they showed up on the 50mm chips at the WSOP Main Event several years back. This is a 39mm chip, but now that I have one in hand, the spots make more sense. These are plastic edge spots with what appears to be the text molded into the spot. The little tabs at the edges of the spot are probably there to give the clay base a place to grab onto when the chip is molded.

The spots are incredibly uniform and square for a clay chip, and that makes sense as they are not clay! This shot shows a bit of a whitish mark on the spots which basically lines up with the text on the edge. This is another reason why I think the text is molded into the spot then the spot added to a chip before it's pressed in it's mold.

I also like this mold quite a bit.

It also looks like there is considerable more space between the top of the 4 top hats compared to RHC chips. Very cool, I need to find one of these.

Today was a good day…
