The Official Mail Showcase Thread (poker related) (114 Viewers)

I am truly humbled by senseless acts of generosity by forum members. @Eriks and I agreed to trade cut cards, and he sends me a sample set of his customs as a bonus. You, sir, are a chip saint.

Happy to see they made it safely. It felt appropriate to include a little bonus when you kindly offered to trade your 4 cut cards for my 2, thanks again! Only sorry I was out of extra $5s and $500s to make it a full sample set.

Although they did not arrive by mail, I had my biggest chip delivery ever today. Thanks @MusicJunkie! It was great to meet you in person!

All blue chip??
Yes, they're all BCC Protégé (Protege) chips from Sidepot on the Cigar and Sniffer mold. The Protégé line is an interesting case study in everything BCC could get right and the myriad issues that could arise when something was off. For example, almost all of the $5k chips in this set have a larger diameter than expected. This is a variant that @Joe Harris hasn't documented in the Protégé variant gallery yet. One $5k also has a smaller diameter than normal, although that could just be a one-off. I still love them, and they're great chips as long as you know it will be a journey to get a matching set. How difficult that journey will be depends on whatever your definition for matching is.

This set filled almost all the gaps in my existing set, and I'm stoked.

Received some more troops today to add to my sets. Very exciting and been waiting patiently for them and nothing like coming back from an incredible vacation to poker chips waiting in the mailbox. Thanks again @horseshoez .
***I have to be the skipping record and point out how much this man has helped shape my collection, and added fruitful friendship to my life. Thanks Zaki!***

Couple of singles to start with. Zaki sent me the Paris $2 and special thanks to @sheikh617 for hooking up a minty sharp “spotted bird”.

Finally, I am super fortunate that nice chippers like @JMC9389 and @BarrieJ3 helped me acquire these BCC Caps room nickels to add to my set. These things are not photogenic at all, but trust me, they are amazing in person. I got 170 of em! Thanks Jeff!

as part of my California solid scrown hot stamp mixed set. Well, all except for the $1s. The colors on the $1s don't match the color used by most other California card rooms in my mixed set. Thanks again!

I remember owning over 800 of these bpoe 1920. There’s some red chips with like a hub mold that went with them. I sold them during the blue boards can’t remember to who

Great mail day!

Oooo, some nice ones in that group. I shouldn't be jealous of a chip called "International Gaming Operations", but I am, though only a little. :D
