The Official RPC Showcase thread (4 Viewers)

I don’t want to brag. But I got myself a couple racks. Didn’t sign an NDA either.

NO DEGENS ALLOWED? what is NDA.
Non-Disclosure Agreement. It’s like the first rule of Fight Club, basically. Common in the tech business world where you have intellectual property (IP) that would materially harm an organization if it were disseminated to another competitive organization.

This thread is crazy, I wish there was a competitor to Paulson who sold to the public. I know CPC is an option but IMO their chips are extremely hard and don't feel nearly as nice. May 2022 bless us with affordable chips.

I wish Kate Beckinsale would give me a massage… but it won’t happen. So I’ve decided to design another CPC set

This may be a dumb question but what is stopping the original owner/owners from re-ordering more of these chips? If GPI sold them in the first place it is likely they have no knowledge that this wasn’t for a casino. Or is it the fact that a casino would never put a re-order in for the same chips?

The prospects of an add on order went kaput as soon as photos were posted here. GPI has a plant or two here watching these forums. No doubt in my mind.

It's probably why these kinds of buys aren't made public until several months after the chips are made.

I hope one day we can do a PCF group buy on these. I know it won't happen, but I can't justify paying over $1,000 a rack...

When I google this casino it actually exists? So did they order these chips, then have some other random shit chips in play at that casino? Was the sole purpose of this casino for this group buy LOL? If that's so, props to them, and they justify $1500 a rack LOL

When GPI sees the best chips ever made, they have to know LOL

Remember these are "Chipper designed" Most casinos wont pay the 2-3 or more $ for these designs in bulk... they're "special" but not genuine casino chips and without any real casino history that many collectors like in chips. no dis to these but the price is inflated by 5 to 10X for "profit realization" by the folks who had them commissioned.

Also in regard to GPI, Angel, or whoever they are nowadays, having a plant here on the forum, that may be true, but what's the difference if the fact that it happened is revealed days or months or years after the fact?? It is revealed, it's obvious that they aren't that concerned and let it go on, they just don't want every Tom, Dick and harry ordering 600 chips every week. Its obvious that @Lemonzest @kmccormick100 @bergs and others have an "In" and that's great! but the infrequent occurrence that these "orders" happen isn't because of the difficulty of getting it done, its purely to keep the mystique and "value" HIGH.

the process is kept quiet so as not to drive the value down not to prevent it from happening as it keeps "happening". If everyone knew how to get one thru these would all be $3 chips.

There's no criticism here on the part of the chips or the "orderers" of the chips, these are only my observations and suppositions. If I could pay $5 a chip and sell to others for $20 a chip I too would do it as frequently as possible but don't have the time or patience. The ones with the "connections" get all the free chips they want out of this, that's great. As revealed in many threads here, some removed I think, not everyone in this latest "Buy" paid the same as revealed by @ImCrossland and others, but they as well as everyone else in the group structured it and all agreed so its all good when all parties to a deal are "happy".

Again I only comment not to criticize jus making outside observations, those who want to buy $20 chips do, those who don't, don't. I just find it really funny the few who said they had none of these had the most...... and find it more interesting that A set of weighted TRK's with movie provenance sit at $4 a chip and these fly off the shelf at $20 a chip. All very interesting.... Congrats to the buyers who do this! Congrats to the buyers who are happy to have them after..... Happy Chipping to All!

I'm probly all wrong in all statements above who knows just another theory... But bet I'm close.

Vegas here I come!! see ya next week.

Everything else posted aside, it's very apparent from both casino chips listed and NAGB chips that a majority of people here gravitate towards the more bright/colorful minty chips. Lead, textured/shaped inlays, and history simply are not a priority to many people over that. However, when those things collide (like Lakeshores, Starlites, RVCLs, etc.) the chips go for crazy amounts.
