It was 53.5 inches long. I previously caught one that was almost the same length, but the girth on this one was massive. The head looked like an alligator coming out of the water!

My first impression - 3.5mm is not very thick. The PCF mats are 6mm. I LOVE mine and not sure I'd be happy with 3.5mm.
