being able to spot out of context things is skill I consider as much of a curse as a blessing. I can’t help it. Years ago my wife was graphic designer at a catholic school and her bosses were full on nuns. Whenever she put together the glossy fundraising magazines for them I helped by reading it for double entendries. Those nuns were a glorious wellspring of them. My favorite was one nun who wanted a headline that “60% of girls attending prom signed the prom promise”. I told my wife. Wow, so 40% of your girls aren’t even willing to lie about the fact they are getting drunk and laid on prom night. Fantastic. Headline cancelled. Giggity.
