My wife works with junior high students, so she's not easily offended. Usually, she's more bothered that they think she has no idea what they're talking about.

It's hard to tell who's a dude and who's a lady around here when you first join unless that information is made really, really apparent. As a rule, I tend to not go down the path of anything that may be construed as or has even the slightest hint of being sexist, bigoted, or racist. You just don't know who's behind the keyboard on the other side.
That being said, what is this thread if it's not taking other's words here and twisting them into sexual innuendo? I know I'm basically a 30 year old child that's still half my age at heart and in sense of humor when I don't have to put up the front and be professional

I was making two separate points regarding the overwhelming majority of men on this forum and how it's hard to know who's who after first joining. To be honest, I saw you being referred to as "Mel" when I signed up here, and mistakenly thought that you were a guy named Mel. It didn't dawn upon me until later that Mel could be short for Melanie or a similar female name.

I don’t go out of my way to make sure people know I am a female and usually don’t even correct people when they assume incorrectly. I don’t know why it would matter. All good. Carry on with the silliness here
