Set ordered before the FDL cutoff back a few weekends ago. This isn’t the CPC proof because I haven’t received that yet. This whole set is a throw-back to some of our happier days as a group. We recently lost a friend, co-worker and member who suddenly lost his life on the job.

Go A on the button- white edge. White edge buttons come out better. On the non-white BR dealer buttons I have, you can see the line where the edge design starts and stops. Plus, there’s a bit of discoloration along the edge.

Here’s what I was talking about. Unfortunate.

Always liked these. Can't be more than 1 or 2 custom BCC sets in Aus. Still got them?
Yeah, they sit in a box unused as I havent played in over 8 years.

I always found it hard to get past the BCC flaws and actually enjoy the set for what it is, it was often easier to just use my other ex-casino sets that I liked.

Ahh well.......maybe the kids will enjoy them some day :)

BCC flaws can certainly be annoying, but when they get it right they are awesome. Which of the many possible issues did you have?

I'd love to see some pics of them. I think most of the ones on ct have disappeared.

And if they ever get too annoying, I'd take them off your hands lol

The big one is the $1 which have inlay colour fading (also with the $20) so the bull is grey and the red denom is faded light red.

It doesnt sound like much but it is the flagship chip of the set and someone printed the inlays and just didnt give a s****.

I can handle some out of round inlays or other manufacturing quirks, thats a part of the process and they remade the non denom chips that were of a different diameter, but that person that printed the inlays and put them on the chips just didnt care and that angers me the most.

Now, dont get me wrong some of the chips in the set are perfect, absolutely beautiful, I just wish the $1 was one of the perfect ones :)

Everybody is coming out with some bangin sets lately. Here is my Four Queens tribute set the "Club Royale"

Artwork by @Quicksilver-75, labels in progress by @Gear , DB's by @ABC Gifts and Awards /BR Pro & cut cards on order. They will be going on a Roman Mold total label replacement chip set (project #2 of the 2020 relabel projects).

That kind of thing doesn't bother me, because there's nothing they can do about it. It's just the printing process. The face of the button matters more to me, and the actual design of the rolling edge. a faint white line isn't a big deal IMO.
