None of my business, but back when raffles were done here they were usually based on a lottery number being drawn on a specific night, for complete transparency/security.
 
Someone took my number or I’d be in (23).

I once was in Vegas to see Seinfeld and put $20 on 23, it was my only bet of the trip. It hit for $720 (or whatever the right amount is).

That's the whole point, it's just one roll live. With 30+ people there's bound/guaranteed to be some folks on the live video yeah? I can do Zoom instead of a Google Meet I guess, I just don't know what accounts I still have with Zoom (plus don't feel comfortable using a work license zoom account to do a poker chip raffle in a casino).

Like it's not me in my house doing it, it's a Vegas floor room running a roulette spin. I loved the Zoom aspect, way fun doing something live.

Completely random/secure, unless the person has someone in the lottery department to assist.

A completely random roulette spin that I could only impact by having a friend in the casino willing to lose their job (and jail?) over 4k seems to be pretty close to the same level of transparency/security no? And of course it's your business, you're a member with an opinion and shared it in a non a**hole way.

We could do the lottery number thing, but that seems.....boring? Just trying to have some fun while keeping it as transparent and secure as possible.

Lol if I need to somehow dupe someone for a couple racks of poker chips, I hope I could come up with better ways to do that than build an offsite page and a competition and take time out of a family vacation with a bunch of kids to drive 30 mins each way to do a roulette spin :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

Oh 1000%. It's a live stream on Google meet, I already shared the link in OP and on the website.

I figured I'd open it early while I'm cruising the strip to head to casino, anyone that wants to join and talk sh*t and such can. Then we'll wait to the exact time, head in, and place our bet/spin! To add to it I've asked my wife to assist and grab a recording for posterity to post as well for anyone that can't make the live stream, but her reaction was very "wtf is going on" so it may be my brother in law who assists :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

*hopefully* whoever wins is on the stream and we can hear their howls of victory.

lmao that’s just pure cash bets baby. So since I’m in Vegas and doing this anyways, I’m putting a cash bet in for @quintooo and myself.

Anyone else is free to jump in and I’ll place the bets for them, and PayPal them their winnings.

I’m looking forward to my number hitting for $3600!
