Dang nice sale. I regret not jumping on the original offering (as usual). Still looking to add on to my racks of the primaries so hoping some of these make their way to public sales. Some delicous red apple 5s and fracs is all I need!

I think if you need two racks of fracs the play may be to go after two racks of the NCV bearclaws.
I need two racks of .25 and only one rack of .50....the wife game plays 10c/10c (using AS $2 as 10c).

I think my .25/.50 game is all set, but more colors is better....looking forward to seeing 50c hit the felt.

I don’t know why I bite, I’m weak  :ROFLMAO:

2 pages and half of it is non owners with no interest of owning a set who don’t care about how these chips are sold.

But they do want to make sure that the Vendor and chip owners know how they feel.

Man, I’m sure your family holidays are a hoot.

Maybe if there are any future sales, you guys can set up a private forum that can’t be polluted by us nasty non-owners.

Nothing to do with non owners. I may be a non owner come this Sunday.

Talk about a self fulfilling prophecy (noones doing this again, all future ones will go back to private), people bitch and complain about max profit nagb with no information.

Great, here’s a NAGB with tons of information and not nearly as profitable as could be (evidence by private sales above cost).

People are still bitching and complaining.

I just don’t get it, why come to the thread? And what are people looking for?

If I ever get Paulson direct chips, I’ll make sure to give them away for free and hand deliver them to each chipper. The same police will probably complain I didn’t give a tug job with each rack.

there are other threads people can post their displeasure with how I have conducted this sale... But here is some more pictures as we get ready for this weekend's sales...

I think I understand why these rack sales are exclusive and I’m all for it. And as a guy who’s not into murder and relables, I kind of love it because it will tend to reduce that (though I doubt that was the intent.) But yeah, although it’s impossible to sell chips like this at a fair price and eliminate flipping, I think the Tiger sales model is a pretty good approach.

I must say, I really appreciate this NAGB sale.
I have tried putting a set of chickens together...man I didn’t even have a chance. Either not available or way expensive.

I only own two more sets, a St. Jo from the original Chip Room Sale, and a Tournament IG set from the original sale....and planing on keeping both.

I have tried relabelling some chips to make a set, but it just doesn’t do it for me. (the only relabel I would do is a 5c chip, since they are not available)

I´m not really into this flipping thing, because I buy to play the chips for a long time like my st. Jo from back in the days,..... BUT on the other hand, I don´t mind it either, because it gives me the option of buying a rack when I want to add on......
.....just my two cents

only going for one or two more racks on this sale
Thanks @kk405 & @JeepologyOffroad

For the record I didn't Bitch or complain.... Just compared to similar sales and asked for it to be kept real, profit is good. profit is nice. one shouldn't be embarrassed by profit, nor misrepresent that there wasn't as much as one would think. I didn't complain about the sale method either just expressed that it wasn't transparent. Obviously as always the buyers are happy as they bought....

I am curious tho as to the reasoning the number of chips is a secret, it is a tool for buyers and owners to value the chips other than it's worth what I paid... especially in the secondary market where the supplier states his displeasure with the flipping at 2X or more...... Keeping the numbers hidden only strengthens the value of the flip.

Here are some great things about this sale:

600pc Primary set - $6.46 per chip average
600pc Secondary set $7.60 per chip average
No relabeling necessary
Playable on day one, no waiting around for something to come up in the classifieds or begging other members to sell.
Countless other existing sets being offered for sale in the PCF classifieds at great prices
An additional supply of THC chips to the market place

Example of an order could be:
  1. 1 rack of primary $1s and 1 rack of primary $2s; two racks of T5000; two racks of Canary Yellow 'bear claws'
  2. 2 racks of primary $25s; 1 rack of T25000; 1 rack of Blaze Orange 'bear claws'
  3. 2 racks of T5s only
  4. 2 racks of primary $25,000 and 2 racks of secondary $25,000
  5. 2 racks of Unobtainium
I'm not sure I understand this order process and would like to clarify so that I don't mess up.

In a scenario where I REALLY want rack A, want rack B, and sort of want rack C how should I put the order.

Rack A and B are cash chips, C is tourney.

Do I list them once all under 1? Or do I list them separately as well?

1. Rack A, Rack B, and Rack C
2. Rack A and Rack B
3. Rack A
4. Rack B

Some questions:
- for order filling do you look at all options listed or start with everyones 1st choice, then go to 2nd choice, etc?

Or am I missing it and the multilisting is only needed if your primary wants exceed the number of slots free (5 primary cash racks you would be interested in, etc.)?

Thanks
Grant

After seeing the sample set in person. These things are hot. Hope there are some left for the rest of us after this sale. It's seem unlikely to own a set as I don't see anyone selling anytime soon. I can only hope to play with it at @CraigT78 next degen. Good luck to all this weekend.

@kk405

Based on the picture in the first post in this thread : quote "some of my chips" = I highly recommend to raise the homeowner insurance just a little bit ;-)

The Sales value of the chips is freaking awesome....

Anyone interested, should include at least 3 and no more than 5 different set of choices of what they would like to add to their sets.
If someone had interest in a single rack of a particular denomination and nothing else, is it required to submit 3 choices?

Same boat here...

definitely not...and it might even increase your chances of getting what you need... perhaps putting a second one as backup would not be the worst idea...but again, not necessary.

I presume there will be many who only need a rack or two to complete their sets...and if they don't get that specific rack(s), they may want something as back up to 'trade'... but the simpler, the better...

and to that note...given the complexity of this, it may take all of Sunday and part of Monday to sort this out...so, if you haven't received a PM from me by Sunday night, don't panic ;)

Yes, you should list the 'most wanted' racks in #1...and no need to repeat them in number 2 or numbers 3-5...

This is not as straightforward as the sales process of the last few weekends. Unfortunately this is a manual process with multiple inputs, and I won't know until I see the entire order book. I will do the best I can to fill as many orders as I can... I will start with your number 1 choice and go form there... but if some of them are not available (which for many will be very likely), I will start looking at your number 2 and the number 3 and 4 and so on... I will send you a PM and inform you what I do have available, and you decide what you want and we go from there...whatever is not sold will go to the following week's PCF sales.

Given the work involved, billing/payment will most likely be middle of next week and shipping towards the end of the week.

Not panicking….but this brings back memories. Good ones.

So these pics are or are not representative of what’s available Saturday? Because I feel like this pic is going to bait some people into putting “rack of $2s” high on their priority list when in reality there could be zero left.
