Tiger Palace - Tournament Hot Stamp Sales (3 Viewers)

Could you please explain this a bit more? I assume you just mean this as people buying tournament hot stamp sets will have priority for more tournament hot stamp chips, and this doesn’t apply to cash set sales.
Sure. If additional racks of hot stamps become available for sale, first dibs will go to people who have bought sets from me...this is to give them a chance to make their sets more playable as each have varying needs... and some may even want to use these for their cash games for example. After they get a shot at the racks, then I will offer them to everyone else.

This is true for the cash sets as well. Anyone buying cash sets will also get first dibs at future sales of racks/chips that become available, and that includes the higher denom chips that are typically not included in the 'sets'. Kind of like a loyalty program

Not options for international chippers, unfortunately.
Yeah, not for you unfortunately. Bank wires worked in the past for international. Depends if the amount was worth it or not.

I've done a few direct bank transfers for PCF deals - albeit only inter-Europe, which is pretty simple thanks to the IBAN. Far better than anything PP offers in terms of transaction cost, just takes a couple business days.

Everyone should start getting Zelle setup and forget about PayPal, Venmo, and GPay.
Just curious about pros and cons…I have them all, and (stupidly) use them at random. I like PayPal because it’s like a bank account that is completely hidden from my wife…but if I’m screwing myself out of cash, then I want to stop.

Not sure why you’re WTFing me. He said taxes where applicable. I have no idea what taxes can be applicable anywhere else, but I know in some American states (like mine) sales x can be applicable. If one of these sets is going to cost me an extra 6.25%, I’d like to know beforehand.
sorry, i did not mean to insult
but i just could not how see anyone paying $6+ for a poker chip would be concerned about taxes

Bump up 10% in prices or “applicable sales tax”….

Coming from someone who runs an e-commerce store… the latest rules for collecting sales tax are a real pain in the ass

I feel that

I’m too hung over for this…
In some cases, if you don’t have a physical presence with out of state sales, you don’t need to pay sales tax unless you collect a ton of taxes (e.g., $100K). That may cut down the number of states requiring a collection. Not sure how many sets will be sold, but there may be enough time to total by state and then look up the rules to see if sales taxes would need to be collected.

As for local taxes…

Hey @kk405, was just wondering whether the prices for all the other sets will be released before the sales date for these? Just want to try and get a better idea of which I'll be able to afford — and thus spend my money on.
I will most likely post them after the hot stamp sales … but still with plenty of time before cash set sales begin. If the hot stamp prices are any indication, all chips will be priced fairly. But the cash sets will be more expensive…

Giving me nightmares of waking up in prison one day because I mistakenly didn’t collect and pay $3.54 to some random city… ugh it’s such a pain in the ass even with Shopify calculating most of it for me.

Edit: kidding obviously but really it is very difficult

Yeah, totally BS to make small time vendors do this. There has to be some exception I didn’t find in my 2m41s of internet searching. If not, makes me wonder if Etsy, eBay, PayPal, and other platforms were behind the expansion, hoping to push more people to their services.
