I think this drink applies ,,,..

I have a solid head cold for 4 days now. Moved into my chest. Stuffy head, runny nose etc etc.

but here’s my go to ‘cocktail’

1 Wild sweet orangeteabag
1/2 fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon of raw unfiltered honey
3 to 6 ounces of B&B Brandy

I've been experimenting a bunch with cocktails lately. My standards have been Manhattans and martinis (don't even ask me gin or vodka, I will smack you).

In the past three weeks I've tried the Aperol spritz, Aperol Negroni, whiskey sour, and a few others.

Tonight was a gimlet with key lime juice followed by a couple of Manhattans in my shiny new Sunset at the Bourbon Club rocks tumbler. I've spoiled myself with the really good stuff - Luxardo cherries and Carpano Antica - and it's going to be near impossible to go back to the Martini & Rossi Sweet Vermouth now. :wtf:

Your old fashioned was truly fantastic. Even without the Luxardo cherries it would have been awesome!!! Thank you for hosting.
The 1897 was better though, right? You love that stuff.

My pleasure Bill. You are welcome any time.

Interesting, I just watched the video. I haven't explored any Scotch cocktails yet but may give this one a shot - I just need to get some fresh mint first. :)

It was a very unique cocktail. Would not have thought to add absinthe to this mix of ingredients.

Beggar’s Banquet
-2 oz bourbon
-3/4 oz maple syrup
-1/2 oz lemon juice
-5 oz lager

Interesting mix, but surprisingly tasty.

Picked up a bottle of The Botanist gin today. It's very good but a lot more expensive than my usual.

No photos (oops) but I tried it in a martini and a key lime gimlet. Both were very good.
