Cash Game To Plaque or not to Plaque? (2 Viewers)

I am also thinking about getting plaques, probably a few $100 for home 1/2. I am not sure how many would be a good number to have if 400 $5s and 100 $25s is where we are at for chips.
How much is usually on the table by the end of the night? For my 0.25/0.50 game, we cap buy-ins at $50, so we end the night around $600-$800 on the table.

My plan to get my $25 plaques on the table is to have a $100 game, have everyone start with one. Then use them for rebuys as needed.

It's less about how much you have in your chip bank, and more about using what you want.

Had these made semi-custom from BRPro

I have been hosting a monthly game for about 8 months. Typically alternating between a cash game (0.25/0.50) and a 2 table tournament.

One of the regular cash game players is color blind, and cannot see the difference between red and green. The starting levels of the tournament were tough for him since I run a T5 game. The cash game was much easier. $50 buy-in so we had pink, blue, and red on the table. However, we recently opened the buy-in max up to $100 and will likely end up with $1,200-$1,500 on the table by the end of the night.

Would it be silly to get $25 (or $20) plaques, so we don't put greens on the table for my one color blind friend? We play with the Nevada Jack Skulls, and I could order some custom plaques for $5 each.

There's not a problem playing with all reds, I have 3+ racks and 3 racks of greens. Really the question is, how much "fun" is it to play with plaques, because it seems like I'm trying to find an excuse to buy them...
Absolutely...positively...get some plaques. They rock!!

Plaques are almost as bad as the bricks of cash used on High Stakes Poker. Man I hate plaques.

Just imagine if they used a wrapped bundle of $1000 plaques. Not sure if better or worse than a cash brick.... but I'm leaning towards better.
