I to watched Agents of Shield like one episode and just felt to kiddish.
Check out Daredevil on Netflix. Not to bad. Started season 2 am on ep. 4.

Tried season 1 of Daredevil and it didn't take, but I really liked Jessica Jones and thought it was well done. My sister encouraged me to give Daredevil another try after liking JJ, so I'll be checking it out again sometime soon.

I didn't like daredevil or JJ. I gave each about 3episodes. I just am not clicking with the current marvel offerings I guess.

I too gave up on season 1 after the first couple episodes. But season 2 just came out and seemed much better. Has The Punisher in it. First 3 episodes were good.

This weekend I read the Injustice: Gods Among Us series and it only further highlighted what an abortion the plot of the BvSoJ was. It could have been truly amazing if they'd followed the Superman storyline from year one of Injustice.

Or if they required the participation of some of the other Justice League personnel as in the comics, they could have set it up to occur in the next film or something. Basically I was just shocked to see such a great story somehow not used in favor of the piece of junk they put on paper for this movie instead. Huge missed opportunity imo.

And I expect the majority to be crap. I just don't expect people to overlook or discard great source material in favor of crap.

No? The latter happens quite often too. Maybe I've just lowered my expectations too much overall just so I'm occasionally pleasantly surprised by sometime.

There's certainly no shortage of people screwing up source material, but rarely just flat out ignore obviously great stories in order to write their own. It's kind of a limited circumstance because comics and sci-fi are way more likely to have the equivalent of fan fiction circulating as examples of good stories whereas most other movies are reboots or straight up adaptations.

Watched this last night fully expected to hate it....and actually found myself entertained.

Not saying it's a great movie but it didn't really feel like the complete abomination I expected either.

Could have used more Wonder Woman. A little humor would have gone a long way as well.
