I am trying to give feedback to a seller on here and the feedback option is asking me for a URL. Why won't it let me put in a URL for the transaction. The dropdown it gives me has NOTHING to do with the transaction that was completed! HELP!!!!!!!!!!

did you post in the thread? i think that is (or was) a requirement for leaving feedback.

No, I did not and at this point it is closed for further comment!

That seems VERY unfair to the seller that I cannot give positive feedback!

I got it finally! I used the thread it presented to me and the feedback was left for the proper person/transaction! Interesting since the thread mentioned something about Paulson and the transaction had NOTHING to do with Paulson plaques or chips...they were ACF plaques!

Thanks for the assistance everyone! I give you all good feedback!!! LOL

The problem often arrives. Many buyer do not manage to leave me of evaluation.
Of the blow I have that of it 54 :p I should have more than 100 of it as on eBay:)

Thank's Norman ;) for your perseverance

Threads close automatically once they are marked sold. If you weren't able to post in the thread, don't have the seller make a new thread strictly so you can post feedback. It creates headaches and mucks things up. And my understanding is that the forum has processes that auto-close such threads anyway.

If you're going to close a transaction by PM, make sure you post something in the for sale thread.

I'll remember that! I have the same problem as Bobb59. I have done about 30 deals on here and ONLY have 4 feedback remarks...makes me look pathetic!!!

Both the seller & buyer need to post in the sales thread in question. The feedback is done that way for transparency. If it wasn't a seller could have anyone leave a bunch of positive feedback tied to a unrelated thread to get a erroneous good rating that doesn't show a true picture of the transactions that took place. By leaving the thread trail potential buyers/sellers can see history of the transaction to judge properly. Feedback left in unrelated threads is worthless in helping track the transaction history.

OH, I understand why, I just didn't know that until now...LOL!
