Breaks my heart. I've got Paul winning in a sad points victory even with the lil 2 minute rounds. Tyson will still have power but his head movement isn't there and its not like he's adapted his style in the past decade. Paul will tie up if ever in any danger, they've got soft gloves and short time. Paul's not an amazing boxer but he's got some experience now and he's much younger, his cardio will be worlds better. Judges and fans will gasp everytime Iron Mike throws a big hook but I don't see enough of them landing clean to win on points unless he gets a big knockdown early in a round and follows up. Always possible.
Everyone remembers Tysons combos but not the amazing use of midrange jabs and distance to set them up, he was there when he wanted to be and then gone; this wasnt seen in later Tyson. Im a big apologist for him when it comes to prime and H2H discussion, but eh.
For Paul its a win-win: if he loses but has a good showing its Rocky 6, Tyson raises his hand and they hug and he's accepted by more fans. If he wins, he's beaten a titan of the sport.
Either way they both get rich, and old men like me whine.
