I just got my add-on yesterday, and had a chance to unwrap them tonight. The only chip I had printed in both runs was the lime green NCC nickel.

There is a noticeable improvement in print quality for batch 5. The print is sharper, and the light colored background is less grainy. If I can get a decent side-by-side shot later, I'll post it.

So here's the side by side I promised. Old chip (batch ???) on the left, new batch 5 chip on the right.

As I mentioned before, the printing on the newer chips appears sharper, and the background is less grainy/mottled. Also, the printing didn't get down into the "inlay" ring on the old chips like it does on the new ones. All changes for the better IMO.

Also, did anyone else notice that the batch 5 chips are on a new mold? The cards on the batch 5 chips are slightly skinnier and have rounded corners.

The rounder card corners are the original chips I first received from Bosco, and easily the superior version. It also has a matte edge finish, and little to no spinners.
