We touch down and are taxiing to out gate and the Captain announces that an inbound flight from DC nabbed our gate. So we're sitting on the runway for the next 30+ minutes.

You can't actually see Troy from here (Folegandros), but you can see many of the other Cycladic islands in the horizon, like dolphin fins or serene, blue, half-sunk amphoras.

So, our latest RV adventures are taking the wife and I from the Detroit area out to the east coast. We are currently traveling thru southern Pennsylvania on our way to Delaware. We just stopped at the Hollywood Casino in York, PA. Come to find out it's a brand new casino....as of Aug 12th anyway. And the strange part is as we are getting close to arriving and following Goggle Maps, the wife says "that's weird, it looks like it's in a mall??" Well, sure as shit, it IS in a mall, the old Sears store to be exact. I have never seen anything like it before.

And in case you are wondering, yes, that is rain from Ida....it has rained here all day....there is water everywhere!!

Off to the Casino at Delaware Park for tomorrow night. Hopefully the rain will be done by then.

On a side note, why can't anyone put a decent looking inlay with a black hundred chip with pink and yellow spots....WTF!!!!

They did get a shot-ton of rain here (that is an actual engineering unit of measure). We have crossed a few bridges that looked like we were lucky they were still standing!!

So our next stop on the RV trip was Resorts World Casino in the Katskills. A great “newish” casino….very much a Vegas feel to it. But 1 weird thing….they have 2 different colored $25 chips….they claim the ones with the gray tint were the original ones that were green, but after being washed daily for Covid have faded a bit…???

Lol once when we were younger and on a road trip we drove to that state park specifically to hike. Afterward we were getting some pizza and we were like “where are all these nascar trailers from”? Then we found out there was a racetrack there!
