I actually just took a little time off (very little, but weeks are significant to me for chips and poker ) and logged back on today to see these. I literally JUST sent a message to another member here who has some fives he was going to sell me. I recently completed a few racks of the higher denoms in my Point Defiance set and have been toying with the idea of abandoning the Highway 9 project for a couple of reasons; price of Paulsons right now, my Point Defiance love and being close to a 1500 chip set with good breakdowns, and one of my other expensive hobbies, fpv quadcopter racing, has been pulling hard at me the last 6 months or so....

Thanks again guys for keeping me in mind, but in all honesty I think I am starting to lean hard towards going away from the HIghway 9. Sucks because I really want a set of these living in Lake Stevens, but I'm starting to think I'm letting my sentimental side over rule my actual want.

Well, I have only a 100 paulsons to my name and they are of the Avalon kind. I'm a rookie in the clay chip game and just trying to make my first Paulson set. I'll put my name in the hat to buy all 300 avalons, what do have to lose! Pm on the way!

That's why I decided not to build a set of these either. I have a lot of memories from Hwy 9. I was working there for the grand opening. Made some good friends there too. Great people. But I decided to go for The Grove CIC chips instead, and didn't want to pay premium prices on Paulsons right now. I just don't think they're worth what they're going for. If Paulson ever decides to come back to the home market, I see all these sets plummeting in value. Whereas the CIC Bud Jones and TRKs would be much less affected.

Ah, if only they were "Cristo's" instead of "Christo's". My nickname away from poker & chips has been "Cristo" (no H) for many years. If there were "Cristo's" chips they'd be Cristo's chips, if you get my meaning
