How long do you normally sit at a cash table? Any reason for moving around instead of just planting yourself at one spot?

I will sit for many hours if the table is good. If there is no action, I will do a table change or casino change. I left the 5/10 because two of the easier spots left and it was apparent I was now going to have a much higher risk to win money.

Thanks for the info. One of the things I really need to work on , is recognizing when to get up and find another table.

I got it and didn't even finish half. We took the untouched portion to a homeless guy.


My technique may have been lacking but I think I get several points for effort

Got stacked with AQ on a Q high flop. I check raised to $125 and drunk big stack goes all in with flush draw and gets there. Reload. Next hand AA - on button. UTG bets $20., 3 callers - I raise to $100. original raiser goes all in. I call and hold. Back to even.

Stacked same guy from AA hand with JJ. Up some more.

Drunk guys are the best. You can easily congratulate them for beating you (sucking out), because you know the money will come back, and they always hang around longer when they think they are sitting with friends. Just watch their wallet. When it is empty they will be done reloading.

Giving Flamingo a try. All in on first hand with 99 vs. short stack who flopped a set. Next hand called raise with 89 and stacked V with AQ when I turned two pair. Back to even.
