Vegas trip report - In search of a (WSOP) ring [19/03/25 - 31/03/25) (73 Viewers)

Yes, another Vegas trip report from yours truly.....

This trip, I will play an assortment of tournies: WSOP circuit at Horseshoe, Venetian Deepstack Showdown Poker Series and the Super Sunday at the The Orleans.
We'll mix in some cash games too (depending on the (lack of) deep runs)....but also plenty of non-poker activities (Spinettis crew, trip to the dessert/West Rim/Joshua trees/..., shopping for the kids and many more)

I'm leaving tomorrow early (in a few hours) with a train ride to the airport at 6h15 AM
First flight to Chicago with a relaxing 3 hour layover and then on to Sin City.

In: 19th of March
Out: 31 of March (back home on the 1st of April)

I'll be staying at the cassita until Sunday (my Vegas home ) and will check in at the strip on Sunday (Horseshoe) to return back to the cassita on Thursday.
It's so fantastic to be able to stay off strip in a very relaxing environment with the best company one can imagine...I feel like family.
Big thanks to my host and his wonderfull wifey....

Mike S. @slisk250 will be visiting one night (on his way to LA), so we'll hook up for sure.

I'll do my best to send as much updates & pictures as possible...thanks for railing (I always play better do less punting with a rail)

Made it safe to Vegas…and my host was already waiting for me at the airport

I can stay brief about Chicago…6 degrees, rain showers and thunderstorms.

The flight from Chicago started bad and things only piled up…first out plane was delayed due to other delays, after that, 3 boarding employees were ‘stuck in traffic’ we only ( shit you not), then thunderstorms started during taxing to the runway, we were grounded for 30min and then had to taxi back because they opened a different runway after the storm….phuk this.

Time to catch some sleep, see y’all tomorrow
