Early double up…open ended on flop, I complete on river…called by set of Q
Yadayadayada... now where's that car?Sorry backers and rail birds..
It looked like the forum crashed and I couldn’t open or refresh it during the break.
In the meanwhile, I was focused and able to adjust to the different play and settle in.
Bigger bets, wider ranges and harder to put villains on ranges.
They battle for each pot, almost never a walk for the BB or limping of middle positions.
And many willing to shoot a second or third bullet to build a big stack with agro play and paying big for draws.
The early double up helped for sure but lost that advantage after a few orbits since others were catching up and I paid for some drawing hands but was served with a bad flop and had to abort to keep my stack healthy and don’t gamble on a 1K single bullet without playing scared.
A few times I thought on the words that one or more backers posted…play your game like u are used to, so I was playing relaxed.
Had a few table changes, some for the better and some worse (stack sizes, position on bigger stacks, …).
After dinner break (12 levels) blinds started to hurt and betting sizes went in overdrive.
Since I was wel rested (first time ever after day 8 in Vegas), I was ready for the final levels but stack was short (below 30bb).
In the end, we played until 2:30 AM @before nr 22 busted…we did good team
We made the money again and @bagged for d@ay @@@3…so my backers have their initial investment back and we are all freerolling now.
Even better, we have a very workable stack of 501K (and just paid 30k in blind before the bubble bursted).
I was one of the biggest stacks on my table when we bagged but will have more info on stack sizes today.
Today no poker…we’ll play day 2 on Saturday.
Have a great Friday @all

Right? I'm reading that update thinking @Thomacetti is using a lot of words to justify a bust out despite his best play...Slow roll![]()
That was kinda what I was tryingRight? I'm reading that update thinking @Thomacetti is using a lot of words to justify a bust out despite his best play...
Then he hits us with, he's ITM, bagging one of the largest stacks at his table.
Congrats, @Thomacetti, keep doing what you do?
Also do backers share the ring? Like does each backers get it for like a month every year? How does that work?
Still early, we played until 2:30 AM so they will correct it before flight C starts.
