Well, it's a $0.40 chip so I thought of it as less than $5 to replace one year of 12+ hour weekly use damage if any blemish is unacceptable, but really only one chip needs to be replaced. The only other ceramics I've used so far are tikis and nile club which I've seen with similar damage, not sure if it occurred at the same rate or if any broke.
Perhaps more context would be useful. The heavy use I refer to is with drunks who toss chips in, slam chips onto other chips, and tapping chips on other chips to check or just make a sound for their own entertainment. Basically, my chips take a beating that would probably make the more expensive chip owners here cry. I'm honestly surprised only one of mine has split in half. I guess the more precise statement would be that I'm satisfied with the durability relative to the low replacement cost as opposed to an all encompassing evaluation of "quality."
