What’s the dirtiest chip you’ve had to clean? (5 Viewers)

Did you get these done in one sitting? Also, did you use the soap, water and magic eraser path?
Nope, was a few sittings. Took longer than anticipated, but excellent results.

I did go with the soap/water/magic eraser method with some advice from @Ben8257. Took some elbow grease, time and some gag reflex but they cleaned up nicely.

This thread really strengthens the need for a vomit emoji as part of the "likes"

Not my pic but all the primary chips were this gross, some of the nastiest chips I ever bought. In fact I think this set helped coin the phrase "hooker juice". Never understood how a $500 chips could get this much gunk. People that played in the Cleveland casino must have been straight up animals.

How much damage, do you think is due to Katrina, and how much due to hookers? Or possibly, hookers named Katrina.

Gimmie gimmie! Lol dang, figured out how to clean the 25 pretty well, and the 5 semi decent. The hundo I picked up was pretty clean though. Maaannnnnn, damn salty water

If you don’t mind me asking—What worked? The only thing I didn’t try was abrasives like a magic eraser.

My set of ceramic Havana Poker Club. 3 years in play and I was doing that for the 1st time. Did not look particularly dirty until I started to wipe them out. It's good that ceramics are easy to clean. Still 3 days in bath.

My two answers have already been mentioned. The gulfports were the worst I’d even seen - I came across a few that were pretty bad, though not quite all black as those pictures above.
but I feel like the all-time champ for casino used filth was the Horseshoe Cleveland chips. Those had so much caked on, sticky filthiness, that I didn’t feel comfortable having them in my kitchen. I have no idea how people were playing with those. I mean aside from the gross factor, they all stuck together.
