A friend uses these chips for his home game. They seem to be clay and definitely aren’t slugged since I’ve seen a couple of them break. I’m just curious of their history, value, etc.

Those look like chips from the Poker Chip Company, which was based out in So Cal many years ago. I think they made some type of clay composite chip, though I never was able to get a sample. I think they closed down a long time ago. From what I recall, they only sold to the public.
They are nasty...that's for sure..and have been that way for at least 2 years that I've been playing in the game. It's not my game...I have no control...
