Okay, I stand corrected on the 8002 chips.
There were originally three versions of the pre-NexgenPro formula 12g slugged Nexgen chips released around 2005 -- Las Vegas mold (8000), River Poker Tour mold (8100), and the Lucky Bee mold (8200). The 'series 2' Las Vegas mold chips (8002) surfaced around 2006, do not have the diamond spots on the rolling edge, and have multi-color spots. A second Lucky Bee mold with recess for a larger label was also made available around that time. They typically sold for around 25c each new, usually in rolls of 25 chips.

Several similar 9g chips have been produced with identical colors/spots but different mold markings and labels -- Dunes Commemorative, Pioneer Club Commemorative, Desert Palms, and several military themes (Marines, Navy, Air Force, Army).
