my friends and I do a $50 buy in with 7-10 seats mostly 7 (many times people buy back in multiple times) and we play .25/.50 cash game. I was wondering what denom quantity i should order along with what each player starts with. the table has gotten up to $1500 before.

I play the same stakes with my friends. I like to give everyone a stack of quarters, so I like more than 100 fracs.

This gives you $5,280 in the bank and allows you to cover .25/.25, .25/.50, and .50/1. You can stretch it to play 1/2, although you'd probably want another rack of $5s for full ring.

When we played 25c/50c, this is what I had:
200x 25c
200x $1
200x $5 (can always add another rack)
100x $25 or 80x$25 + 20x $100

We have since moved to 50c/$1 and I prefer having three racks of $5. It would work for $1/$2 also.
