If at 8:00 AM, guy posts to Facebook “tickets to today’s game up for grabs - best offer by 10:00 AM gets them.”
Then at 9:57, he posts “I have an offer for $100 right now. I’m extending the time until 10:30 AM.”

That guy is a giant ass, right?
I’m not involved in this. (If I was going to the game, I’d be in the parking lot by 10:00 AM.). I’m just an observer and that seems like a jerk move to me.

When I first started here in this site in 2020 I had a seller bait and switch me for three barrels of HSI Secondary $25s.

Offered them to me at $60 per barrel and then when I agreed to buy he raised the price to $75 per barrel (but you’ll have to wait until I sell these other chips to ship)…. Next day, I’ll ship today at $80 per barrel.

I was in a bind because I “needed” the chips so I paid it, but I’ve never forgotten.

As an aside, the chips reeked of smoke when I received them and I got even more pissed! lol

I have to assume those are guys you'll never see at meetups?
To me, your word is everything here on PCF. Either you do what you say, or you don't. Because I view PCF as a big group of guys I might play cards with sometime.
Not that I'd be a scoundrel if Im selling elsewhere. But here, it just seems especially important that people can trust you.

So I contacted @anstossfreak to see if it was the case and he said yes, and I explained that I had already bought and paid for the chips and was waiting on shipment.
The short story is that @Godzilla28 ended up trading my chips for some derby grans that @anstossfreak had and sending my money back two weeks later.

I don’t know if you can tell, but this still bothers me and both those guys are shit in my book.
