What have we here? (41 Viewers)

These are giving me major PNY feels, the beautiful large inlays, cultural and geographical care taken when designing them. But the colors and edge spots are out of this world.

If there is any weakness, I think it is the $5k chip, but although I quite like the $500 there may be folks who disagree with me there.

The cherry on top? These are mint, and almost certainly can’t/won’t be murdered. Yahoooo!!!

Yea I'm impressed he made it to the toilet

Yeah, having lived in New Orleans, the locals stay out of the Quarter for the most part. We went to the Warehouse District and Frenchmen St. Yet when we see tourists walking through the Quarter in flip flops and sandals, or :vomit: Bare Feet, we cringe. They have to wash the streets often to minimize the smell of bodily fluids...

So if these are mint does that mean none of these bangers ever saw play? That’s a crime!

It just means they've lived the same life as most chips on PCF.

(Secondaries almost never see play outside of emergencies, as a serious answer.)
I‘m not whether to use the laughing on the sad emoji for your post.

The idea of buying sets of chips, only to let them sit on a shelf gathering dust, confounds me though.

I've never had or understood the true collector ideology in which we spend lots of money on things to not touch and display only.
- if I buy chips, they get used.
- if I buy expensive bourbon, I'm drinking it.
- if I buy expensive food, I am eating it.
- if I buy an expensive car, damn sure I'm driving it.

I've never been a "look what I have" person either, where everything is on display but you cannot touch.

Back to the chips though ... man, if only there was a $25..

I guess I could always change my structure for a game or 2 ... (still going to be out of my price range though)

Cost of secondary chips < Cost of lost business without usable secure chips in case of theft

I’m not going to knock your structures, but you don’t need me to tell you that T100 has become the standard. So it that regard, this sale is pretty good.

What about art?

I think there are a lot of chippers who don’t felt them and don’t speak up for sake of getting shit canned. Let alone those who imagine hosting, acquire sets and then realize it can be difficult to host and field games.

This isn’t the thread for it, but let them be!

What about art?
Ron Swanson said it best:

Speaking to a crowd at an art gallery

“OK, everyone: shut up! And look at me! Welcome to “Visions of Nature.” This room has several paintings in it. Some are big, some are small. People did them and they’re here now. I believe that after this is over, they’ll be hung in government buildings. Why the government is involved in an art show is beyond me. I also think it’s pointless for a human to paint scenes of nature when they could just go outside and stand in it. Anyway, please do not misinterpret the fact that I am talking right now as genuine interest in art and attempt to discuss it with me further. End of speech.”
