Let's say we have a set of custom ASM chips with awful personalized art. Is there any fix for that at a low cost? I ask because 600 such chips just hit eBay at an opening bid of 99 cents per rack. I wouldn't take them for free if I had to pay shipping. But maybe Gear can work label magic. Or perhaps the inlays can be replaced somehow?

Anyway I was just curious if it was possible to redeem a customized ASM or if they are cursed forever?

If you like the colors and spots, @Gear offers inlay replacement therapy. I wouldn't call it low-cost, but the results are spectacular.

This is definitely one of those "What is it worth to you?" things. I wouldn't pay more than $150 for the lot because removing the label, paying a designer to create a new one and then paying for the labels to be made is going to cost another $400. And you are stuck with the breakdown that the seller has.

Unless of course your name is Shawn Anthony.

Between the breakdown and the risk of a last minute snipe taking out a chunk of your set, this could be a great bargin. However, ChipEnvy is correct. The cost to get them up to snuff would be high.

Hmm, I may have seen these chips before. Yes, you can most definitely remove the inlays and label them. Good luck getting any more white chips though. :whistling:

i sold a bunch of A molds with no labels to BG, all solids and some discontinued colors at what a fiddy cent a chip??? i would take these pop off the labels then contact gear..horsehead used to be my fav ASM mold..

value....hmmm let me think and get back to you...i might be bidding, no wait i dont need or want anymore projects, but i will guess at $.20 to maybe $.30 a chip if you really wanted them...inlay suck (sorry shawn) but the chip is still good if not better since it has an inlay area ready for a new label

edit: had to adjust prices...cant remember what i sold to bg

i would bid $200 to $250 for all of em shipped to east coast usa if you wanted a project at a low cost, they will go higher maybe
