I’ve always been partial to the clay ACFs. ….and the colorful ceramic ACFs for that matter.
Plus the borgata chips.

I'm not familiar with those. Picture?I’ve always been partial to the clay ACFs. ….and the colorful ceramic ACFs for that matter.

Actually since you mentioned it, I did exactly that and took advantage of that fine tool "search" and found several different variations of these chips. Some solids, some with edge spots etc so I thought I would simply ask specifically which ones you were talking about. It was a bold move.Use the search feature. Quick search of just titles for “acf” yielded a pic in an old classifieds thread:

They’re simplistic, but 614 and 3d14s are my favorite spots barring bear claws.
I completely understand how you feel. I think everyone has very specific likes and dislikes and I myself am not sure if I've ever seen a "dream set' myself. It always feels like there's that little something that you wished was different. Most chipsets I see on here doesn't inspire me personally but I enjoy others happiness in their own sets. Me personally, I just sent my art and requests to CPC to finish a set I started and designed over 15 years ago and though I'm excited there's honestly some things I wish could be different. I honestly don't think most of us will ever be 1000% completely satisfied mostly because of the potential yet limitations in this industry. We all see what's possible but our hands are tied to do anything about it. Me personally, TR King closing took a very large peice of the soul of chip making away forever. Their colors, edge spot availability and inlay options were second to none not to mention their feel and sound.I think my dream set is a custom one, whose details still lie somewhere deep in my brain while I try to assimilate as much as I can while browsing this forum and discovering great chip after great chip. Tastes and preferences are sneaky fickle things…
There are definitely several great sets I would like to have, but few are "dream" sets, I think there is always either a chip, a colour, a spot pattern, something with the inlay, that makes me think "yeah… but".
Meanwhile, if I had some spare organs to sell… I would be very happy with a IOC set (love/hate this one…), or Tigers, and especially Royal Princess Casino. But that will certainly change next week.
I had a small tournament set (320) of Deadwoods i bought brand new from Apache that i sold during tough times. Never tabled them even once. Ill never forgive myself for selling them.My "dream" set is a custom-designed Paulson 43mm IHC-mold 6000-chip cash/tourney set, 15 denominations from 5c through 500k.
Of existing options, a full set of TRK Deadwoods or BCC Riverboats.
And oddly, you want guys here to call you Hot Nuts.I learned from a chick this week that pineapples are a secret sign for swingers. I had no idea. Upside down pineapples mean something. I'll never call crazy pineapple again with dudes.
