The two tournament leagues I am a member of have been around a while and operate almost exclusively by email. This still works well I think.
For cash games I send out multiple group texts with a blue and green mix (I’m blue). I text around 33 people these days so I send 3 texts to 11 people. I found if I sent one big group text people were not getting the text, not sure why.
