That makes sense to me. Also, I'm pretty sure the unlaminated labels are vinyl, so once they're good and stuck on, the oil MIGHT not affect them at all, even if you don't keep it totally paringly toward the edges?
The Lucky Derby $1 chips are used to the point where the Hotstamp has been worn on most of the chips and it's basically flat and flush in the recess so no real need to remove it with nail polish remover.
