I’d like to see em too. Wasn’t there some story about thousands of Mapes as well? I know where those IBP hundos came from in the classified recently and in my world there are maybe about 3 barrels known. I’ve got a few racks of 5s, some 2s and a 20 plus about a barrel of hundos

Pics or it didn’t happen....but possibly the OP lives in another chipping world and has the mutha load. Good on him if it’s true.

Ok, I don't have any. I just randomly made that up specifically because I thought it would antagonize you, person I do not know. More importantly, when you ordered me to post pictures via PM, and then reiterated your "pics or it didn't happen" on here, I was like, fuck this guy is good AND he's relentless. And so, I give up. Yours is the only know count of them in the known universe.

I just wanted to see chibes. I didn't mean to start anything. I blame @JeepologyOffroad for taking too long with the restoration.

If there are pics of the mapes and you are willing to share I will happily stare at them also.

All differences aside, as a "never to own grails" I'm always appreciative when any member shares photos of their sets as it allows me to enjoy this hobby remotely so to speak. I also understand that not everyone wants to share what they own publicly and that their prerogative and shouldn't be held in any less regard than people that chose to share their acquisitions on the forum. I'm just grateful for everyone's contributions no matter what they may be. It all adds up to make PCF what it is, A sometimes dysfunctional motley crew of chip nerds! Just like in life I try to embrace everyone's nuances and focus on the positives they contribute rather than focus on any perceived negatives. With that being said WW has always come good on his stated finds via his Pron thread so I have no reason to doubt his claims of "newly" found chips. I'm still a relative newcomer around here so most of the time I don't have any meaningful insight or understanding of the history of the chips in question and how many are likely to be in circulation and whether said claims are likely to BS or otherwise. I prefer to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and let the pron do the talking.

To be clear, they haven’t gotten to Jeep yet, either. Still sorting through finds, I have other priorities for cleaning.

Also, being serious for a moment — Your request for Pr0n was authentic, because it came from a place of love for chips and just wanting to see more things. But to be fair, you also push it sometimes; asking for additional angles, and color matches.

I don’t mind fulfilling those requests occasionally, because I know why you ask.

That said — this is my Pr0n thread of my journey and I post what I want when I want. The thing I won’t tolerate are snide posts asking for Pr0n, but really meaning proof. I have nothing to prove to anyone, it’s a fucking hobby and I’ll take it at the pace I want, with the content I want. :)

I just have a genuine appreciation and enthusiasm for the hobby and absent all the different chips the only way I have been learning is to try and consume as many threads and look at as much pron as I can. So thanks for indulging me. I try to be selective with my requests as I am aware I tend to ride the line more than most. I'm from the school of if you don't push the line sometimes how do you know where it is? :whistle: :whistling:

Sorry to get your panties in a bunch newbie. If you had spent any real time here at all the remark of "pics or it didn't happen" is an often used term without malice to anyone. We like to see what people say they have. You skipped over the last part where I say good on you if you really have them...and no flogging necessary just take your arrogant unimpressive attempt at sarcasm elsewhere brother.
