Windwalker’s Chipping Journey in Pr0n0grAph1C Detail (33 Viewers)

As far as I can tell, there are 300-400 chips unaccounted for outside of PCF (if what I believe about the total count of 5600 chips is true).

Inside of PCF, there are 1100-1200 chips with 2 or 3 other members, the majority (80-85%) with one member. I believe it’s a keeper set for that member.
Until something better comes up for trade lol

Lol I think they were a keeper set for a few folks, but we tend to use that term a little lightly here.

Very very cool. I can only hope that you show up to SQM draped in Giraffe garb from the ex wifes storage.

When the hunt gets old, try the harvest sometime. It’s an adventure.

All that work for RHC?

Do I sound like Dave yet?

J/K. I have no idea how you guys do it. There’s zero chance I can get away with walking away from a table with racks of chips. Don’t people stop you?

Those are actually house mold.

And I had a poker cage guy at Bally's help me sort through 10 racks of $1s. I literally walked over to an empty table with about 6 racks.

Aaah. Didn’t zoom in enough, just saw some kind of emblem closer to the outer rim, assumed it was RH

Wow. Had no idea. I just assumed they wouldn’t allow it with all the cameras and such.

Some don't. It really depends on the casino and the cage person at the time. Persistence is key. A bit of English charm on the older ladies doesnt go amiss either lol

There is no card room at the HR Atlantic City and they won’t sell you chips at the cage. This was literally 2 separate 4 hour endeavors with a good friend of mine on opening day of HR AC.
Several trips back and fourth to the parking garage to unload our pockets once they were full. The opportunity to not only get mint but also uncirculated chips was that day. Those chips came straight out of the dealers racks and into my hands 5, sometimes 10 at a time.
The Hard Rock AC used to be the Taj Mahal AC. When the Borgata opened up in 2003, all the local pros started playing over there but the easy money to be made remained over at the Taj. I spent hundreds of hours playing in that card room in the early and mid 2000s. When the HR redid the entire place and opened up, I just had to be there for old times sake to get my hands on those new beauties.
If you’ve never experienced the thrill of a harvest, give it a try sometime, it will enrich your chipping soul. :cool

Typical addict behavior [smh]

I originally created this as a Pr0n thread to document my chipping journey / evolution, because it felt a fun thing to document, both for myself and for others, especially because there’s an entire category in the forum dedicated to Pr0n.

If the volume bothers you, there’s an ignore feature, as well as an “unwatch” one. :-)

So, back to the Pr0n. I am gathering a bunch of random leaded chips in different denominations to ultimately create a mixed set. There are more on the way, here’s what I’ve gathered thus far.

Still need a better option on the $5, and definitely need an option on a $1000 chip. The hotstamp fracs are nice, but I’m undecided of whether to mix those and inlay chips.

The learning continues.

Every piece added to this set is awesome, to where it seems like half of my bookmarks are WW pr0n.

As for how you feel about the fracs, I think the hotstamped Silver Star .50c work well, as they flow nicely with the $25s (which it sounds like you are keeping now) and the $500s. Probably do not need both frac denominations, but that is for you to ultimately decide how you personally feel about it.
