Windwalker’s Chipping Journey in Pr0n0grAph1C Detail (12 Viewers)

Marvel is filled with flawed humans ... DC is filled with god-like aliens who have deal with humans ...
A closely related observation: I've often said that, regarding (for example) continuity - Marvel has a history, and DC has a mythology. No matter how epic, how personal, or how ridiculous either one gets (and they both can, a lot), Marvel is somehow always grounded in what feels like the real world, and DC is always at home in what feels like the legendary.

I have been looking for a $500 chip for my LCO set to play bigger, and I think I finally found it.

@JeepologyOffroad cleaned and milled these Casino Royale GHS hundos that were pretty worn, and @Gear is making the labels. Here’s a mock-up of how it looks in a splash pot picture.

@Windwalker , I was looking around at some stuff for a project I'm putting together and came across the Union Plaza $3 Baccarat chip if this 500 doesn't work out for you. I think it's Ochre, brown/white.

. He’s one of the only popular DC superheroes that is actually human. Marvel is filled with flawed humans who receive their powers through some act (Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk) or mutation. DC is filled with god-like aliens who have deal with humans (Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman).
Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Flash, the Atom, Plastic Man, Booster Gold, Dr Fate, Captain Marvel/Shazam, Zatanna, Blue Beetle, Cyborg, Black Canary, Firestorm, etc. are all giving you the wicked side eye right now.

Therefore my comment that I was making a heavy generalization. It was really an observation about how cinematic Hollywood focuses on the main “god like” characters.

Just giving you a hard time, plus, I grew up as a DC kid.

Marvel finally got it right with the MCU. They failed a lot getting there though. DC has had so many ups and downs with their movies. The TV series (Berlanti-verse) has been pretty incredible though.

It’s so great!
It's my Browns chip. One of my faves. Spinettis had a barrel or two of them for sale. I nearly attempted to rally a rack together. Sadly, the price was out of my league. It was somewhere between 8-12 a chip if I remember, so it might totally be doable.

Might be able to do a set where you had traditional colors, or traditional cali colors, but all of the edge spots were just shades of the main color. This would work as the brown for that easy.

Alex, you asked me this on Aug 20! It’s like you knew I’d make my way over to the Cali collection. :whistling:

Cali sets, boat chips...la crème de la crème! Not really surprised to see you gravitate towards these sets. And that pre-dibs might turn out to be a genius move one day...

So does that mean you have found the Lakeshores? I am obviously rooting for you :D

Oh, and shaped inlays on all but the yellow $1.
dibs! :p

really though, the capitol city chips are just fantastic. The yellow $1 and the blue $20s are amongst my all-time favourites.

EDIT: which version of the $5s did you get?? If I recall, they're both red (or reddish)... 4V418?? :nailbite:

I think the $5 is the star of the show! Can't wait to see them. Fantastic!
