Cash Game Work Horse Chip for $0.25/$0.50 and how many (26 Viewers)

Sure, if you can afford it.

What if a rack of fracs costs $850-1200?
Thankfully, I don't have that problem. If I ever do though I'll either play one rack of fracs or more likely sell the one rack I have and build an entire HHR cash set hot-stamped with some dead persons' initials.

Personally I like the single as the "workhorse" for 25¢-25¢ or 25¢-50¢ stakes. I think your set should just be 600 so it fits nicely in racks unless there is a particular reason you want to be at 560.

So I would do 100/300/160/40 of 25¢/1/5/25 at these stakes. (Alternatively 100/300/175/25 or 100/300/150/50 if you have to buy in quantities of 25.)

If you have an eye on up-staking to 1-1, then I might go a little more balanced between singles and fives, more like 100/240/200/60 (or alternatively 100/250/200/50 if you have to buy in quantities of 25).

Since you are trying to keep the quantity to 600, there is zero reason to spend a full rack on twenty-fives, or have more than one rack of quarters. If you were doing a 1000 chip set, I would feel differently. But all of the breakdowns I have suggested keep 70-75% of the chips in the singles and fives. I think that's a good zone for efficiency.
