It's said that Things get better with age, & wear will add character..

Anyone's set of ASM/CPC chips used enough to show real wear .. rounded edges, worn smooth ..?

*** Let's see pics of noticeably used worn ASM, CPC ( or Burt) Chips, if you have them ...

I'd imagine older casino sets would show the most wear, such as the cleaned ASM Riverbend $1's I have below ...:

Jim from the Chiproom sold some really dirty nasty A mold chips years ago, I think from a bowling alley. Blue ones and bright red or pink fives. They were the most worn asm chips I've seen. Someone will remember...

lol, mine aren't anywhere near Kenmore Lanes status, but I'll try to post some pics tonite. (y)

I have a sample of a Kenmore $100 ...
Here's a better look at the Riverbends, these were cleaned, ( & might be in a more worn shape than the Kenmores)...:

Love seeing the worn ASMs, some heavy lifting there!

Mine see regular action at weekly game but in a rotation with other cash sets, and the meatups etc. They still look pretty sharp but the feel is nicely broken in for shuffling.

I took pics of $5s and $1s. Several add-ons so can't really estimate age exactly. Initial order of 800 (blush) chips delivered March 2011, 1600 chip add-on a few months later, then a couple more I'd need to look up. The center barrel of commemorative $5 were delivered October 2016 for comparison.

Some rare flea bites, I think from enthusiastic dealers, but that makes me happy.

Somewhere I have a stash of Player's Club (or maybe just Players?) chips from a Chiproom sale years ago. I think they were a dime a piece and some of the most worn chips I've ever seen. Probably still in the bag they arrived in.

Those A mold 5s...wow I've never seen ASMs like that.

Best wear I can show are from shuffle stacks.

Horseheads (note ink around edge of top chip):

I picked up ~500 of those really well worn River Bend $1s on eBay a few years ago. They are the most worn ones I have seen and came packed basically loose in a medium flat rate box . I've been hoping to pick up HHR $5s in matching condition but have never seen any this worn.
