Basically I really like the royal chips and want to get some for my microstakes game .10/.20 or might change it to .5/.10 depending on what i end up doing.

- Should I just get custom chips? (I feel like they'd be the same price as relabling)

- How much are labels ~1000 for a 500 chip set and where can I get some?

If anyone has any insight I'd appreciate it!

Greetings, Welcome!

When you say custom, I ask clay or ceramic?

I put together a royal set with a custom label, it cost me about $1 a chip and it was 800 chips.

I like royals far better than the Tina chips, so ceramics would be ~1.5, Tina chips ~.55 clay seems to be running $2+

Gear labels are 30~60c ish per chip. For 500 chips, i think stickermule labels would be about 25c a chip. Custom chips can vary a lot in price, but if you're looking for the cheapest option of the two it's typically going to be a custom chip. Really depends what options you're looking at.

I love Gear labels and will promote them every chance I get.

But to me, it makes little sense to spend more on the labels than it does to purchase the base chip themselves (unless you got clay at a screaming good deal and put in some sweat equity to have them accept labels).

You will likely be able tp get custom ceramic at a similar or lower price point, but YMMV when it comes in a highly tariffed environment.

Custom being ceramic since it is a cheaper option for most custom chips. I love how the royals feel, 43mm and the colors are beautiful so that's what I love about them.

If you like the chip and want to put a label on it go for it. The royals are better than ceramics imo and won’t get as slippery.

The only other option for 43mm are ceramics, so the Royals may be the only good option for that size. 43mm clays are gonna be expensive and not easy to put a set together.

@Gear is the way but if you can’t wait hit up @Okku at spinettis. Best priced labels in town. I don’t think there is anything better than a custom label/set.

I like a 43mm, I went with the majestics, always mix the two up

Looks Great! How much did they run you?

The pricing is on the website, and depends on the options you opt for. I would suggest picking the chips you wish to re-label, then get a sample pack from gear to figure out which labels work best on the chips. The thickness of the label will vary based on options you choose. I chose a matte vinyl, which I believe is about 15 cents per label.
