I was the original raiser after a couple of limps. They weren't strong and he only had 18bb, plus I had a much larger stack that the other guy left. I figured I was ahead of his range there. I'd do it again lol

My thinking is that at this point in this type of tournament, there is enough dead money out there that there is no need to press small advantages

true, but he was in the blinds and reluctantly called my original raise. I was fairly certain he wasn't going to hang around. I've been watching him for a while.

At cash I would, but I've noticed already how often people are c betting with total air. Totally different dynamic than I'm used to.

Local well established poker player who has a friend on the tourney staff told him that Harrahs has purchased a combined total of 1.2 billion chips in this tourney set for this event. Wow!

about half of that is probably a rack of the new 5M chips they added this year though... Add two racks of the new 1M chips and thats 700 million already
