How cool is this? The WSOP releases a new event - a team event - for the 2016 schedule.

I think this would be a blast to play with 2-3 friends from a home game, though I'm sure that there will be some pros that will put together teams that have a great full ring player, a great shorthanded player and a great heads-up player. Regardless it sounds like a great idea and would be a blast to play with a group of friends.

Dont look like they have as many 1k events this year. I thought they had more last year.

I don't think i can get my head around NLHE being a team event.
I'll definitely try and see it in action though.

I can also imagine there'll be a lot of drama around a format like that.
