+1 for BCC
the rings around the edges do look like the ones on the Samurais

need more pr0n. splashed pots. rows of stacks. feed me.

The Bible instructs me not to covet, buuuut the Bible wasn't written when these were made & subsequently purchased fairly well below value.

Nice pick up! I'll try - almost assuredly unsuccessfully - to not be jealous.

I think I've seen cracking on a few certain Paulson colors. These don't seem as 'soft' as Paulsons. Their edges also feel sharper than new Paulsons. I am leaning towards BCC as well.

BCC never had the dies to cut the patterns on the 500 and 5000. The 100 is a 438, BCC used 414 and 412. The 25's spots have an "almond" shape that BCC didn't have (and BCC's 212 was actually a 412 die with the non-edge-spot color 1/2 holes filled with the chip's base color. Well worn 212 BCC chips show the tone-on-tone spots.

These have to be GPI/Paulson.

(What an amazing set!)

from my source:

"GPI made the chips.

Elaine Wynn had those chips made, Very large order.

Used for a big charity raising event back east, maybe NY. In a non casino hotel.

Will get particulars next week."

I was thinking the spots looked to good for BCC. No splits? [emoji2]

A soon as I handled them, I was 99.9% sure they were. No box needed.

Looks like we figured out who the private buyer was. The original seller messaged me, saying that they will be putting another lot for auction. I waiting, and waited, and that auction never came. Messaged them about it and was told that the set was sold in a private transaction.

Nice pick up Tommy!

That wasn't me. I did some trades and bought some.
