Well, bought a set. Got a basic Monte Carlo tourney set with 600 chips (with more or less the recommended division based on the new users thread). Also got a few samples. I figured ill use a basic set until I know if I want to do cash or tourneys, and if I get enough friends and neighbors to make it worth it.

Im still eyeing that dia de los muertos, or even cooler, the Caribe Hilton ceramic sets. Work of art!
