Bally's or Rio's would be awesome. They aren't even all packed yet (but they'll go out tomorrow @bentax1978). I am sure I did the right thing but this stings a little... Enjoy them!

No worries, I'm in no rush, pack/send them at your convenience. I only posted the mockups as I had a few minutes before the PCF/pokerstars tournament and I will just killing some time on the computer.

Monte Carlos imo. They look great! But of course that could change when you take stack-by-stack pr0n...

Here's the comparison of the Scandia and Monte Carlo chips. (with a barrel of Empress $100 chips, which I thought might make a good candidate for a shaped inlay replacement just to have a barrel of high denom chips).

Hmmm after seeing stacks I'd have to go with the Scandias.

I agree, I think they work better. I'll also see what I might be able to grab in Vegas in a couple weeks. Don't need them to be mint either, maybe in between the $5 and $25 chips, so it makes it a little easier to harvest a potential match.

New idea. Going to Vegas next week and was thinking about picking up a few racks of these to use as ones. I'm sure the ones from the casino will be a bit more used than the picture, but that should be ok as they should match the rest of the chips well.

No joke, how has someone not created a casino chip harvesting business in vegas? Maybe theyd get caught eventually? pillaging all the minty chips across the city

wow, those are almost an exact match....

nevermind, you fooled me. they look good with the set, though.

Looks like Aztar Evansville Single - have you considered those?

wrong mold.

Thanks for the suggestion. The spots/colors are really close to the original, but as BGinGA said, it's the wrong mold.

I'm actually not necessarily trying to match the original $1 chip since it's not exactly a recognizable chip. For the purpose of this project, I'm just going to make a decent looking secondarily Nooksack $1 chips :)

I think the Scandia, Monte Carlo and Charlie's would all work.
You know what might look really nice and match the 1/8 white edgespot of the $25s is the Discovery $1s ;)

You know where those Discovery chips would also look nice, in place of the Paris $1 chips I'm hunting down here.

Don't suppose yours still have sharp edges and that you'd be open to selling/trading them? (I might have a few things you'd be interested in ;))

Yeah, you should probably just blow up that mixed set there -- I'll take those beautiful $5s :)

Yep, all still have sharp edges (just completed my 3rd rack), just not sure I would want to let them go as I just finished a set with them..
I assume you are looking for more than 1 rack?

Slow down there Mel :)

All Aruba Palm Beach chips should be reunited with their large extended family at my place (y)

Some come to think of it, maybe I should just make @softchewy an offer for his entire mixed cash set.

Yeah, I would want it all :D

Perhaps you'd consider trading your complete mixed cash set for an equally awesome Tropicana 2nd edition cash set? Just thinking out loud here...

edit: when I said "all", I didn't see the bigger picture you posted, I just saw the racks of Discovery $1, Aruba $5 and Aztar $25

Some nice stuff there, softchewy. (y)

Thanks.. and thanks again for those RCVL $25s.. Really Really like those chips! Easy to see denoms, "double" shaped inlay, great colors and heavyweight.
If I could find the $5s and $1s I would be in chip heaven.

There's a crap-load of 'em in Tennesee hiding out in a charity cash game someplace. Wish I knew where.....

The lady sold off everything she had RVCL ($25 chips and higher, blackjack tables, etc. - pallets full of stuff) on craigslist. Just kept the smaller denominations for her game. I'd swap her a twice-the-size mint set of whatever-she-wants to get 'em.

I still have primary/secondary $25s, primary/secondary $100s, and $500s. Everything was mint.
