Your Beer of Choice? (15 Viewers)

Here’s a screenshot of the menu at my local beer bar. They celebrated their 3rd anniversary last week and have a few beers brewed specifically for them(#s 16, 19, 21). I was in yesterday afternoon enjoying #11 and the company of the comely redhead lady who’s there on Saturdays.

IPA heavy in here.

Any sour beer fans? American wild ales, gose, or Berliner Weisse styles? Lambics/fruit lambics? Ciders? Those are more in my wheel house nowadays. I think I drank too many super hopped IPAs in my 20s but I can knock back a few session IPAs now and again.

@Marc Hedrick is a big sour beer fan

I’ve had New Old Lompoc’s Proletariat Red a couple times recently and it’s worth a try if you like red ales.

How willing would you be to beer mail me some of those selections? I'd pay you of course.

You know, i was just thinking about that.

Let me see how willing i am, I hate shipping stuff.. LOL. but could be arm twisted.

Amazing. Very smooth and velvety. Tons of chocolate with a warm bourbon finish.

Two beers from halloween the other day that my buddy gave me, newish brewery up in Mass called Lord Hobo. Both were very good IPAs, very citrus-y

Can't like this enough.

Growing up in the PNW I'm IPA'd out these days. Sour beers and Belgian style beers (saisons, farmhouses, tripels, etc) are probably my current favorites. I also enjoy a good Pale or Amber, or German style brew recently. I used to abhor beers that were too malty, but I quite like something like an Octoberfest, or something like a Deschutes Hopzeit that balances the hops with a good amount of malt.

Never could really get down with Stouts, even though I originally pretty much only drank Guinness when I was around 21.

Sessioning this Session IPA. Collective Arts brewing - each can has different art on it. Light, crisp, notes of citrus. Enjoyable but not highly memorable.
